Background and experience

He previously worked as an associate to a Federal Court judge, travelling across Australia for appeal hearings involving complex migration, employment and Commonwealth matters. He later worked for a national law firm representing banks and credit providers in finance, partnership, building, property and commercial disputes; assisted workers with employment disputes and unfair-dismissal claims at a major Western Australian union; and worked within a predecessor agency in Australia's federal workplace-relations system.

Community and governance
