By using the website you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use the website. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
No legal advice; no solicitor-client relationship
The website, including all general information and AI Avatar interactions, is general information only and is not legal advice, a legal opinion or professional representation. Using the website, interacting with the AI Avatar or submitting an enquiry does not create a solicitor-client relationship, which arises only when you enter a signed costs agreement with us. Submitting an enquiry is not acceptance of your matter and does not make us responsible for any deadline or limitation period.
The AI Avatar
The AI Avatar is an automated tool that provides general information only, is not monitored by a lawyer in real time, and may be inaccurate - verify with a qualified practitioner before relying on it. Your interactions are recorded, transcribed, stored and retained, may be used to train and improve AI models and our services and for compliance, and may be disclosed to and processed by our providers (including overseas). Do not enter sensitive, confidential or privileged information; you should assume anything you enter may be recorded, retained, used for training and held by our providers. By using the AI Avatar you consent to this as set out in our Privacy Policy. You must not misuse, manipulate, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the AI Avatar.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to breach any law or the rights of others, interfere with or gain unauthorised access to the website or its security controls, introduce malicious code, scrape or data-mine except as permitted, transmit unlawful or infringing material, or impersonate any person. We may suspend or terminate access for any breach.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, all content on the website - including text, graphics, logos, the Legal Care Australia name and branding, and the AI Avatar's appearance and outputs - is owned by or licensed to us.
